I loved this bright summer wedding. I knew Katey and Ty from JMU, so when Katey came to me knowing exactly what she wanted for her wedding flowers, I was thrilled to make that happen for her! Also, Katey's mom is the sweetest. Not really pertinent to this post, but it needed to be said.
It was a gorgeous day and the friends in the wedding party were as kind as they were handsome. Getting to work with awesome vendors like The Tuckers Photography at The Virginia Cliffe Inn was just icing on the cake (see what I did there).
One of my favorite things about The Virginia Cliffe Inn is that there are so many different ceremony location options. There's a sweet gazebo, a little babbling brook, and this clearing surrounded by a wooded area. We leaned into that foresty vibe with a birch arch and some foraged greens mixed with purple and white blooms. I loved working with this color palette.
